As part of the Status of Women Mental Health and Wellness Series, the following workshop is being offered to all ETT members.
Workshop: Coping Skills
When: February 9, 2023 | 6:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m.
Where: Virtual
Learn about the importance of mindfulness and deep breathing techniques.
Members will learn:
- Mental Health and prevalence with a focus on anxiety on how it triggers the fight flight response.
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy – “Challenging your Core Belief”, what you know and in the moment strategies of feeling stress/anxious.
- Techniques to help regain emotional regulation and grounding.
Presenters Bios & websites:
Carmen: Specializes in working with individuals with speech therapy, special needs, emotional regulation, applied behaviour analysis (ABA), life skills, mindfulness and coping techniques.
Maya: She is a registered Social Worker who offers therapy sessions for PTSD, Trauma, Coping skills, Depression, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, School issues with focus, Mindfulness Therapy.
