The Shine a Light campaign is aimed at building awareness and helping teachers take action to stop inappropriate and negative administrative practices—including violations of the letter and spirit of the Collective Agreement—which are undermining our control over the teaching and learning environment for which we are professionally responsible.

The campaign encourages teachers to identify ‘best practices’, which contribute to a positive work environment and promote the development of a cohesive staff team, benefiting students and promoting a positive image of public education.
