ETT Members, Monday, September 5 is the 150th anniversary of the first labour march in the streets of Toronto—and Teachers, Education Workers, and your colleagues in labour and community will be out in full force. Live music, sign-making, stilt walkers, and gathering together at the end at the Exhibition Grounds for the final day of the CNE!
WHEN: September 5, 2022
TIME: 9:30 a.m.
WHERE: Section 8 (near Armory and University…the usual location for all education unions)
Limited parade apparel, food tickets, and wristbands (which will allow marchers to enter the CNE grounds) will be distributed to registered participants at the meeting place before the parade starts.
Please march with us and then join us after the parade for refreshments.
Members are encouraged to register through the form below by July 29, 2022, 4:00 p.m. so we can correctly order the necessary t-shirt sizes.
