The Elementary Teachers of Toronto is inviting three members to apply to attend the John Cartwright Leadership Institute, a respected labour leadership program organized by the Toronto & York Region Labour Council.
This intensive program brings together union activists to develop skills in organizing, mobilizing workers, strategic planning, and building solidarity within the labour movement.
Participants will learn from experienced labour leaders through workshops, discussions, and collaborative problem-solving.
Program Dates (4 days over two weekends)
- March 27–28 (Toronto)
- April 18–19 (Mono Cliffs Outdoor Education Centre)
ETT will sponsor three members to attend this program. Because this is an investment in leadership within our union, applicants must be prepared to bring their learning back to our membership.
Commitment Required
Applicants must commit to:
- Attending all four days of the Institute
- Participating fully in program activities
- Working with the ETT Executive after the Institute to help strengthen organizing and leadership within our local
