ETT was shocked to learn that the TDSB plans to make massive cuts to the Health and Safety Department, slashing the number of Health and Safety Inspectors from 20 to 13—no consultation, or rationale provided.
We need more Inspectors, not less, to ensure the environment you and your colleagues work in every day, and that our students learn in everyday, is healthy and safe.
We call on the TDSB to reverse this decision.
