Elected Stewards are ETT’s official representatives at school sites. In addition to keeping members informed about union activities, policies, and initiatives, Stewards support and defend members’ professional rights and help address and resolve concerns with administration.
Steward Action Teams (SATs) also play a critical role in supporting members, building collective strength, and fostering solidarity at the school level. Together, Stewards and SATs are essential to maintaining the strength, unity, and effectiveness of ETT.
All ETT members in good standing have the right to run for a Steward position.
