Why Wear Red?
The Red for Ed movement is a North America-wide movement in support of strong, fully-funded public education. It is a tangible way for teachers and education workers to show solidarity during bargaining and stand up for students. Wearing red makes the fight for public education visible to our communities and decision-makers.
ETT Members: wear your Red for Ed T-shirt during the current round of central and local bargaining to express your solidarity in our fight to win the best learning and working conditions possible for your students, for you, and your colleagues! Wear red on Fridays and during scheduled negotiations!
