April 25: Join Teaching for Justice Conference 2026

Community is Resistance!

Thank you for joining us at the third Teaching for Justice conference, a gathering of teachers, students and community partners whose mission is to create a space for educators and activists to share ideas and resources. We aim to build community and to foster courage among those who are challenging systems of oppression. The conference has a focus on inquiry, activism and student empowerment. Participants will meet allies and learn strategies to support their teaching practice.

Conference Details:
  • When: Saturday, April 25th, 2026 from 9:00am to 3:30pm (Registration begins at 8:30am)
  • Where: Elementary Teachers of Toronto, 4211 Yonge Street, Suite 300 (just north of York Mills Station; wheelchair accessible; free parking on site)
  • Who: Toronto teacher-activists or aspiring teacher-activists from public, independent and private schools
There is no cost to attend. Lunch will be provided.
