We are aware that many of you received an email in the wee hours of the morning regarding the required Vaccine Disclosure Form and the need for a Rapid Antigen Test.
The request to have everything completed on time is not reasonable. Given the tight timelines and the lack of a procedure provided, we made a demand, and the TDSB agreed to a grace period for teachers who have yet to complete the required documents or take the required test. This means all teachers are being asked to go to work following all the COVID 19 procedures implemented.
TDSB will follow up with individual teachers regarding their declaration and testing status. Once the TDSB has developed the procedure, the grace would end.
At that time, Teachers would know all the information about the process and will be able to make a more informed choice as to how they wish to proceed.
