ETT would like to express our deepest condolences to the families, friends, students, and colleagues connected to those who tragically lost their lives in the airline crash in Iran on February 8, 2020.
As reported by the TDSB, a number of students and family members, along with the family member of a Board employee, are among those that perished.
“This is a devastating tragedy for our students and members, as well as the families of our students and the wider Iranian-Canadian community,” said ETT President Joy Lachica. “On behalf of the ETT Executive and our members, I want to say how deeply saddened we are by this terrible disaster. We are all mourning for our colleagues, our students, our families, and our community.”
