June 19, 2023 (TORONTO, ON)—The Elementary Teachers of Toronto (ETT) and the Toronto Education Worker/Local 4400 of Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 4400) will co-host a press conference along with parents on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, to address the underfunding and looming cuts to our schools, ahead of the TDSB Budget vote on June 22, 2023.

The Elementary Teachers of Toronto (ETT) is the Toronto-local of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO). The local—the largest in Canada—acts as the representative body for more than 11,000 elementary teachers (K-8) employed by the Toronto District School Board (TDSB).
