ETT members, Friday, November 29, 2024 is our Federation Day. This year’s theme is, This is Why We Teach!
We are very excited to come together this year. As you know, your union has won this day in our collective agreement as a time when teachers are released to attend ETT-organized professional development activities. Now more than ever it is especially important to come together.
Federation Day is organized in an A.M. and P.M. format. This year, we will have the ability to come together either in-person at Sheraton Downtown Toronto (123 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M5H 2M9) or participate virtually via the Pheedloop platform.
This year during the A.M. session (in-person and live-streamed), we are excited to welcome Nadia L. Hohn, award-winning educator, artivist, and author of several books for children, and Ricardo Tranjan, political economist and senior researcher with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA), along with ETT President, Helen Victoros.
Space is limited, so make sure to claim your seat as early as possible.
