Monday, September 2, 2024 marks the 152nd anniversary of the first labour march in the streets of Toronto—and Teachers, Education Workers, and your colleagues in labour and community will be out in full force. Join us for a lively parade, music, sign-making, and gathering together at the Exhibition Grounds for the final day of the CNE!
WHEN: Monday, September 2, 2024
TIME: Parade starts at 9:30 a.m SHARP! Because of our starting location, ETT Members can meet at 10:00 a.m. to get your t-shirt and wrist-band.
LOCATION: SECTION 9 – Centre Street north from Armoury Street (The designated location for all Teachers unions).
Limited parade apparel, food tickets, and wristbands (which will allow marchers to enter the CNE grounds) will be distributed to registered participants at the meeting place before the parade starts.
