🌍 Earth Day Globe Walk – Join Us!

On Saturday, April 18 ETT members, families, and friends—come be part of something special this Earth Day. From sunrise to sunset, communities across Toronto will come together for the Earth Day Globe Walk—a city-wide day of action, celebration, and connection focused on building a healthier, more sustainable future for all.

This is a chance to:

  • 🌱 Stand up for clean air, water, and climate justice
  • 🚶🏽‍♀️ Join the Globe Walk (walk a portion—or the whole route!)
  • 🎶 Enjoy live music and performances at community “Re-charging Stations”
  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Bring your kids, family, and colleagues—all ages welcome
  • ✍🏽 Take action by signing the renewable energy petition

 

ETT Gathering – Christie Pits Park

Join fellow ETT members at Christie Pits Park for an afternoon celebration!

  • 🎶 ETT Choir performance: ~2:30–2:45 PM
  • 🌳 Drop in, connect, and enjoy the festivities
  • 🚶🏽‍♂️ Join the walk before or after—whatever works for you

How to Participate

You can join in whatever way works best:

  • Walk a segment of the route
  • Come to Christie Pits for the afternoon gathering
  • Bring your class, your kids, or your community
  • Stay for a bit or for the whole day
