ALERT: Please Check the Level of Masks Provided by the TDSB to Your School/Worksite

The image above is an example of masks sent to a school/worksite that are not level 1 medical grade masks.
Please be advised that it has been brought to the attention of the Union that some schools have not been issued the appropriate level of masks by the TDSB.
All TDSB employees and visitors are mandated to wear a minimum of level 1 medical grade mask. Masks must be worn upon entry to the building.
Please confirm that the masks you have been issued are indeed level 1 medical grade masks by checking the box the masks came in. If the box says “non-medical,” you have not been issued level 1 medical grade masks.
If you have not been issued level 1 medical grade masks, please contact your ETT Health and Safety Officer and immediately fill out a TDSB Health and Safety Concern and Near Miss Incident Form.
If you are uncertain as to the level of the masks you have received, please take a photo of the box and send it to your ETT Health and Safety Officer for confirmation.
