The Toronto and York Region Labour Council will again be hosting the Dinner in co-operation with the Workers Health and Safety Centre, the Central Ontario Building Trades and the Injured Workers Consultants.
The dinner recognizes the efforts of labour activists who have made a difference in the prevention of work-related injury and disease, and have led the struggle for justice and fair compensation for injured workers. This year in particular, we also want to recognize the valiant voices of those who have advocated for the health and safety of front line workers during the pandemic, and fought management/governments for better safety practices in the workplace.
