On November 4, 2026 over 300 schools Walked In (and more are holding theirs after school!). You can see photos from the many, many walk-ins here on Facebook and our Instagram. On the eve of your Strike Vote, that’s a serious show of strength, and the Ford government is paying attention.
As ETT President Nigel Barriffe said, this was an opportunity to meet and talk with parents about what is happening in public education. “Schools are only being held together because of the goodwill of school teachers and education workers in the system.”
As ETT members look ahead to our upcoming Strike Vote on November 9-18, yesterday’s display of solidarity is getting noticed by parents, supporters, and communities as a whole.
