Moccasin Identifier’s educational presentations provide Treaty education and First Nations learning experiences for schools, workplaces, and community organizations. Through place-based teaching, MI helps participants explore First Nations histories, Treaty relationships, reconciliation, and the importance of understanding whose land they are on. These presentations are designed to make complex topics clear, engaging, and relevant for diverse audiences across Canada.
Moccasin Identifier’s presentations connect land, history, and responsibility in ways that support meaningful learning and reflection. Whether for professional development, classroom learning, or community education, these sessions help audiences build a stronger understanding of First Nations knowledge systems, Treaty responsibilities, and respectful relationships with First Nations peoples.
We will reference the MCFN Treaty and Traditional Territory Map during our presentation.
A Stencil Kit will be given to each member participating in the Moccasin Identifier Workshop.
Built for long-term use, the kit can engage hundreds of learners over many years, making it one of the most sustainable and high-impact educational resources in cultural learning. Each stenciling activity is an act of Treaty — a meaningful way to recognize whose land you are on and join the movement to ‘Cover Canada in Moccasins.’
