On Tuesday, February 3, 2026 beginning at 4:30 pm, ETT will be holding a solidarity rally at the TDSB Office (5050 Yonge Street, Toronto) in support of the teachers at Bowmore Public School who have been unjustly suspended and fired in recent weeks. This unprecedented move is the latest in a series of disastrous decisions from the TDSB while under provincial supervision. Increased class sizes, cuts to special education supports, zero transparency in decision-making, and an escalation in punitive measures against the very staff who make this system work continue to harm students and staff alike.
Enough is enough.
On Tuesday, February 3rd, we are rallying to support our colleagues, and for the schools our students deserve! We’re asking all supporters of public education to join us at the TDSB Office to support for the Bowmore 10 and push back against the ongoing harms to public education.
