Teachable Moments: Ontario’s Murky Polling Position

“The current aggregate of the polls puts the PCs and Liberals in a tie with 34% apiece, with the New Democrats trailing at 25%.”

ThreeHundredEight examines the latest April Ontario polls from Forum, Nanos, and Innovative and finds that while the aggregate indicates a Liberal-PC tie, the individual polls suggest everything from a Liberal majority to a PC minority.

The Liberals are set to table their budget on May 1, 2014. If it fails, there could be a provincial election as soon as June.
