Take Action Against Bill C-377: Stop the Conservative Attack on Unions
Bill C-377 is a Federal Conservative Private Member’s bill which seeks to impose punitive financial disclosure rules on all Canadian unions and locals. The legislation, which would only apply to labour organizations—not corporations, political parties, charities, or any other group or body—forces unions to disclose all financial transactions exceeding $5,000.
This is a blatant attempt to burden unions with red tape, and to undermine labour participation in social and political issues.
