ETT Stands in Solidarity with Muslim Communities

On January 29, 2017, a shooting at the Quebec Islamic Cultural Centre in Quebec City left six dead and eight wounded.

ETT joins with the labour movement and Canadians across the country in expressing our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the victims, families, and affected communities.

Together, we must unite in opposition to hate and oppression and challenge discrimination and xenophobia in all its forms. It’s time to deepen our commitment to equity and inclusion in our schools, our workplaces, and our communities.

John Smith
ETT President
